A life Celeberation

We Honor the Life Journey of Your Loved One!

A Life Celebration or what most people refer to as a funeral has become more than a way to say goodbye; it's an opportunity to truly celebrate the life journey of someone who has been near and dear to your heart.  And even though this is a very difficult and sad time for you, when family and friends get together to honor a loved one’s life, it is one of the most important steps in the grieving process. By remembering all that was special about your loved one, you are able to begin your own journey to move beyond grief to acceptance and healing.

So before you even decide whether your loved one will be buried or cremated, it's important to think through all that was special about him or her so that you can create a truly memorable send-off that reflects your loved one's unique attributes, passions, and personality.

We Provide Customized Life Experiences

Unlike most traditional funeral homes, a Life Celebration Home means that we are committed to providing our families with  customized life experiences for your loved ones. We are certified as  "A Life Celebration Home," and are devoted to telling your loved one’s personal story in a unique and exceptional way.

Understanding that this is one of the most difficult times for you and your family, our caring team will guide you through this difficult time, helping you every step of the way, to create a one-of-a-kind  experience that celebrates the life of your loved one in a very personal way. We will incorporate all of his or her different hobbies, likes, and interests in creative displays that will transform the day into a true Life Celebration. You will find the co-creating process healing and therapeutic amidst your time of grief.

We encourage families to create this unique and memorable life celebration so that friends and family can join together to honor the life of your loved one while being comforted at a time of loss.

Funeral & Cremation

Why have a public viewing?

Viewing is a part of many cultural and ethnic traditions. Many grief specialists believe that viewing aids the grief process by helping the bereaved recognize the reality of death. Viewing is encouraged for children, as long as the process is explained and the activity is voluntary. Learn More.

What is a talk of a lifetime?

The program, Have the Talk of a Lifetime, was created by the Funeral and Memorial Information Council, to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives. These discussions can give important insights to the people they left behind — insights that can be used to honor and remember the lives of their loved ones. Learn More.

What can be done with the cremated remains?

oWith cremation, your options are numerous. The cremains can be interred in a cemetery plot, i.e., earth burial, retained by a family member, usually in an urn, scattered on private property, or at a place that was significant to the deceased. (It would always be advisable to check for local regulations regarding scattering in a public place-your funeral director can help you with this.) Learn More.
