Audrey Kay Bates, 64, of Burleson, Texas passed away on October 18, 2019, in Irving, Texas.
She was born to Jodie Davlin Verner & Joseph Anderson on August 2, 1955. She attended Chico High School and graduated from St. Jo High School in 1973. After high school she graduated from the NCTC RN Program.
Some of Audrey’s hobbies are crafts, quilting, shopping, watching movies, and playing her Nintendo WII with family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jodie Davlin Verner & Jospeh Anderson. Audrey is survived by her children, Leslie McMahan, Alisha Brock (Jason), Travis Grant (Stephanie), and Audrey Walker; grandchildren, Michael “Will” McMahan, Hannah Arant, Reghan Brock, Jack Brock, Jordan Brock, Emmitt Grant, Cooper Grant, and 1 on the way; siblings, Eddie Anderson (Darla), Carolyn Spears (Danny), Terry Anderson, David Anderson, and Sherry Pierce (Calib). She is also survived by Joel McMahan, Danny Grant, and Larry Bates.
A Celebration of Life in memory of my beautiful mother, will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 10am at First Baptist Church in Chico, Texas, 404 S Weatherford St, Chico, TX 76431. Food will be served.
