Barbara Eugenia (Burks) Bradish

Barbara Bradish succumbed to her battle with cancer on Sunday, August 18, 2019. She was born in Lima, Ohio on November 16, 1944. Barbara lived most of her life in the Dallas area where she attended WW Samuel High School and St. Paul School of Nursing. She was the co-owner of a Baskin and Robbins store. Barbara coached and sponsored many neighborhood soccer teams.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of almost 55 years Fred Bradish, her wonderful children Joseph and wife Codie Bradish, Robert Bradish, Sabrina and husband Alberto Ortiz, Matthew Bradish, Diana Bradish, Cindy Garces and Malisa Bradish. Barbara had 13 grandchildren Malachi, Nehemiah, Hannah, Ryder, Skylar, Andrik, Nicolas, Oscar, Andrew, Adam, Anthony, Bryce, Peyton, and 1 great grandchild Martiza. She is also survived by her brother Dwayne Burks, sister-in-law Martha, niece Valerie Elliott, nephew Shane Burks and great nephews and nieces Talin, Macie, Paige, Noah and Brady. Barbara had numerous friends that she loved dearly. She loved her family and her many pets and birds. Barbara is preceded in death by her son Michael Bradish and her mother and father Jenny and Joe Burks.

Barbara's husband Fred and her children did a great job taking care of her, ensuring the very best for her. Barbara had a life well lived, well loved, and leaves a lasting legacy. Everyone that knew her loved her infectious laugh and positive attitude. Barbara was a strong feisty woman that loved life and her family. She was a truly special person and the world is sadder today because she is gone. But at Heaven's door waiting is her precious son Michael, her Mom and Dad, Jenny and Joe to welcome her to her heavenly home.

Services are held at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church., 1302 West Kiest, Dallas, Texas 75224 on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 11 am. If you are wanting to send flowers, please have them arrive the day of so there will be someone present to receive them for her between the hours of 9am and 10am if possible.
