Jose Hernandez

Jose Martinez Hernandez passed away on April 27, 2018 in Farmers Branch, Texas. Jose Hernandez was born in Shafter, Texas on March 21, 1930 to Quirino Hernandez and Estifana Martinez. Jose Hernandez loved to work outside in his garden where he grew many types of vegetables. He liked to work with his hands as he built benches and rebuilt his truck. Jose Hernandez enjoyed fishing and boating. He was very comfortable to be around and a “good guy.” Jose Hernandez loved his family so very much.

Jose Martinez Hernandez is survived by his wife, Manuela Sanchez; his children, Carina Portillo with her spouse, Rubee, and Manuel Hernandez; his grandchildren, Christopher Portillo, Priscilla Portillo, and Edward Munoz; and many family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Gracie Munoz, and his grandson, Moncha Munoz.
