Julio Anthony James Vasquez

Julio was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, grandson, nephew, and friend. He leaves behind his mother, Tammy Arellano; his father, Carlos Castillo; his biological father, Julio E Vasquez; his brothers, Tanny Vasquez and Mark “G” Stenson; his sister, Diane “Aniyah” Vasquez; his daughter, Nyla Vasquez, and her mother, Victoria Tanner; his niece, Destiny Vasquez; his nephews, Devin Vasquez, Aiden’Jha Herrera, Jha’Aiden Herrera, and Fabian Herrera; his grandparents, Diane and Robert Krow; his aunts and uncles, Jamie and Steve Eaton, Leticia and Juan Carlos Vasquez, Miriam and Raul Gomez, Esmeralda and Gustavo Botello, Margarita and Salvador Fernandez, Isabel Vasquez, Azucena Vasquez, Rosy Vasquez, and Luis Vasquez; his 30 cousins; and hundreds of friends and clients. Julio was raised by his hardworking mother.  He grew up with his brother and sister talking about how he would one day own his own barbershop.  He grew up to own his own shop, and he called it The Gentlemen’s Chair, symbolizing his unique way of being. Julio was at his happiest when he was cutting hair and with his daughter. Anywhere he was, her shadow followed. When she was born, he strived to become a better person and influence for her. When Julio wasn’t cutting hair, he spent his life motivating others to better and upgrade their lives, whether it was by getting them off of drugs for the better or giving them advice on how to make more money. He impacted lots of lives in 27 short years. His legacy will never be forgotten.
