Sanjay Kantilal Jaiswal, 57, passed away, at the medical center of Arlington at 1:30 pm on November 22, 2017, due to heart disease. He was born in Kalol, India on November 10, 1960. He was the son of Kantilal and Sudhaben Jaiswal. He and his parents, with the help of Bhagatbhai & Sharmiben, came to Ogden, Utah in 1979. He then decided to study engineering and received his degree in Salt Lake City where he began to work for National Semi Conductor, where he remained for 33 years. He got married on December 28, 1984, to Nayna Jaiswal at the age of 24. While he worked at National Semi-Conductor, he purchased his first convenience store. While raising a family and working 50+ hours a week at his job, he managed to work full time at Diamond Shamrock, his first convenience store. His hard work at Diamond Shamrock helped him purchase other convenient stores and later on, a motel as well.
Sanjay was a sports fanatic. Late nights watching cricket with dada and taking his family to many Utah Jazz games at the Delta Center and later on, Dallas Mavericks games were a favorite pastime of his. He also was a big fan of watching all movies, include many Hindi films and action movies. He also loved his diet Pepsi, ritz crackers, popcorn, and pakora. He drank black coffee and loved Indian snacks. He also enjoyed to tickle everyone with his beard, play basketball, and take care of the whole family. His perfect form of entertainment was spending time with family and maybe a short trip to Winstar.
Sanjay Jaiswal was compassionate, a jokester, and had the uncanny ability to make the best of whatever life threw his way. He will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Sanjay is survived by his wife, Nayna Jaiswal, parents Kantilal and Sudhaben Jaiswal, son Vrishank and his wife Sanam, daughters Neelam and Khushboo, sister Nayana and her husband Deepak, niece Deepna and his nephew Dev, and grandaughter Minka.
