Aliyah Hernandez

“Aliyah Hernandez passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 7, following a 3 week battle with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).

Aliyah was born in Irving, TX on February 19, 2016. She was diagnosed with Short Bowel Syndrome since she was born and needed a central line to receive her liquid nutrition, G-J tube, and an ostomy. She would be in and out of the hospital very often but despite that she would always keep a very cheerful attitude. She was a very extroverted little girl and many of the people that got to know her remember her as a very sassy and feisty girl, very strong and happy. She was also very bossy and knew what she wanted. She was a very cool kid. She was very artistic, loved to dance, go out and spend time with family, and LOVED spending time with her cats.”

“ Aliyah Hernandez falleció el 19 de mayo de 2023 a la edad de 7 años, de una batalla de 3 semanas contra el síndrome de dificultad respiratoria aguda (SDRA).

Aliyah nació en Irving, TX el 19 de febrero de 2016. Le diagnosticaron síndrome de intestino corto desde que nació y necesitaba una vía central para recibir su nutrición líquida, una sonda G-J y una ostomía. Entraba y salía del hospital muy a menudo, pero a pesar de eso siempre mantenía una actitud muy alegre. Era una niña muy extrovertida y muchas de las personas que la conocieron la recuerdan como una niña muy atrevida y luchadora, muy fuerte y feliz. También era muy independiente y sabía lo que quería. Ella era una niña muy genial. Era muy artística, le encantaba bailar, salir y pasar tiempo con la familia y le ENCANTABA pasar tiempo con sus gatos.”
