Barbara O'Connor Lavin

Barbara O’Connor Lavin originally from Brooklyn New York passed away on January 10, 2020 in her home town of Dallas Texas. She is survived by and was the beloved wife of Raymond Joseph Lavin. They were married for over 62 years. She was a proud mother and is survived by her two sons Andrew Lavin married to Melissa Lavin of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Christopher Lavin married to Christine Lavin of Fort Thomas, Kentucky. She’s even more proud of and survived by her four grandchildren Alexander, Katherine, Samuel and Jack. Her family was definitely her greatest accomplishment. She enjoyed reading, museums, art, going to the theater, and traveling. She worked hard to build a life in Dallas and took pride in the one she did. She practiced the Catholic faith and was a member of the Saint Rita Parish. She will be loved and missed everyday, but never forgotten. Love forever. The family.
