Jaya Pannikkat Life Story

Jaya was born in Thrissur, Kerala and left this earth much too early on January 4, 2022. Forty-five years was just not enough. There was so much more in life that she should have enjoyed and experienced.

Jaya and Suresh got married in 1999, and celebrated their 22nd year anniversary this past May with those years filled with so many great memories. In 2000 they welcomed their daughter Kavya and in 2008 they welcomed their second born son Kailash. No one mattered more to her than her family.

An Engineer by profession, Jaya spent 15 years of her career working for Cisco Systems most recently as Engineering Manager. There she made many friends that she loved and cherished. She was an active member of the Women Empowerment group at Cisco Systems.

During her initial years in Dallas, Texas she was an active member of the Kerala Association. She served as Social Director, KAD 2007 period and anchored weekly round up on Asianet.

Jaya fought for what she believed in and did not back down when those beliefs were challenged. She was someone who made the world a better place with her positivity and love for life. Over the period of time when she was fighting with the illness she showed extraordinary will power and a never willing to give up attitude, which was an inspiration for everyone around her. Her spirit radiated strength, sensitivity and beauty. Her unconditional love has gotten her loved ones through every obstacle they have faced in life and her light will continue to guide them. She would dance and sing all her pain away, and worked till the very end. Her sheer determination to fight this cancer lasted till her last breath. She was a fighter and her loved ones carry all that she is, with them. She will always be with them.

She is survived by her loving husband Suresh Kainur, her daughter Kavya and son Kailash. She is also survived by; her parents Narayanan Nambisan and Indiradevi Maniyath and her brother Jayadevan Pannikkat. She is also survived by her in-laws Ramanujan Kainur and Usha Ramanujan and sister-in-law Smitha Santosh.
A spectacular woman and soul, rest in peace, purity and power. Shine on you crazy diamond. Love and light. Om Shanti!!
