Jose Garcia Life Story

On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, Jesus Garcia, loving husband, father, father in law, and grandfather, passed on to eternal life unexpectedly at the age of 63.

Jesus was born on December 31, 1958 in the small town of San Nicolas de la Condeza in Guanajuato, Mexico to Jaime and Luisa Garcia. He was the first born out of 6 siblings.

In January 1980 he married his better half “Carmen” and a month later they decided to come to the United States for a better life. Life wasn’t always easy but with the help of family and friends they managed to make the best of everything. They soon had two children Jesus “Pelon” and Connie. He loved his children but he found out that the very best part of having children, is grandchildren. His Grandbabies were his world and him to them, they had an unbreakable bond, they were inseparable. He loved eating pizza and spending his time laughing and goofing around with Xavier “his Bebe”, Alexia “his Bebita”, and Aiden “his Chato”. He was beyond excited and couldn’t wait to meet his new grandbaby that will soon be here. He was and will always be the best granddaddy anyone could have and his grandbabies are beyond blessed to keepsake all the memories that were created together. Don’t worry Papi Shu, your Chato will remember you and your new grandbaby will get to know the special man you were. Just GREATNESS!

Another thing Jesus enjoyed doing with a passion was making his wife Carmen fuss and mad. He would purposely do things to her to get a reaction and thought it was the funniest thing ever. Seeing them was enjoyable, it was a guarantee laugh! In over 40 years of marriage they created many memories together, memories that will forever be cherish by Carmen. From the drinks here and there with his son Pelon and singing together his favorite songs. All the laughs he gave his daughter in law Susana because he was given Carmen a hard time. To the constant fussing to his daughter Connie on the way to the doctor because according to him it was unnecessary to go. To him scrolling on his phone and ALWAYS messing it up and asking his son in law Santiago to fix it because according to him he didn’t know what happened. All these beautiful momeries we’ll forever hold in our hearts.

Not only did he win the hearts of his wife, children, and grandbabies but he was also very much loved by so many! He was known for his generosity, warm smile, and love for others. So willingly to give and help. Always cheering for his favorite teams in soccer and football giving everyone else a hard time, La America and Pittsburgh Steelers to be exact. Nobody was allowed to talk down on his teams, absolutely nobody.

One thing we can say about Jesus is that he was like a kid. Always on his phone scrolling and listening to his music. He never listened and had a big love for sweets and carbs! Give him chocolates, donuts, pan dulce, ice cream, popcorn, french fries, or anything wrapped in a flour tortilla with his coffee or coke and you had the way to his heart!

He joins in heaven his parents. He leaves behind his wife, Carmen Garcia; son, Jesus R. Garcia and his wife Susana Portillo; daughter, Connie Ochoa and her husband Santiago Ochoa; and grandchildren; Xavier “Bebe” Ochoa, Alexia “Bebita” Ochoa, Aiden “Chato” Garcia, and Baby Garcia arriving soon.

Jesus will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

You may no longer be by my side, but you are forever in my heart. We love you Dad!
