Juan's family plans to celebrate his life and ask that people wear summer colors.  No black please.

Juan Manuel Rodriguez passed away on June 6, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Rosie, his 7 beloved children and grandchildren. 

Juan, better known as Manuel to most, was born to Manuel and Maria Elena Rodriguez on January 27,1950 in Monterrey, Mexico where he grew up with two younger sisters. He moved to Dallas at a young age and soon entered the world of cooking. His favorite cuisines were Mexican and Italian. He catered events at places such as Texas Stadium, the Mesquite Rodeo, and the Byron Nelson Classic. Manuel loved to dance, listen to Tejano music, and root for his favorite sports teams, soccer club Tigres and the San Antonio Spurs. 

His amicable nature and willingness to lend a helping hand earned him friendships that have lasted decades. Manuel loved to laugh and was always ready to tell a good joke. Because of this cheerful spirit the family asks that you help celebrate his life by wearing bright happy colors when you come say your goodbyes.

Juan Manuel Rodríguez falleció el 6 de junio de 2022. Le sobreviven su esposa, Rosie, sus amados 7 hijos y nietos.

Juan, mejor conocido como Manuel para la mayoría, nació de Manuel y María Elena Rodríguez el 27 de enero de 1950 en Monterrey, México, donde creció con dos hermanas menores. Se mudó a Dallas a una temprana edad y pronto entró en el mundo de la cocina. Sus comidas favoritas eran la mexicana y la italiana. Realizó eventos en lugares como el Texas Stadium, el Mesquite Rodeo y el Byron Nelson Classic. A Manuel le encantaba bailar, escuchar música tejana y alentar a sus equipos deportivos favoritos, el club de fútbol Tigres y los San Antonio Spurs.

Su naturaleza amistosa y su voluntad de ayudar le valieron amistades que han durado décadas. A Manuel le encantaba reír y siempre estaba dispuesto a contar un buen chiste. Debido a este espíritu alegre, la familia le pide que ayude a celebrar su vida vistiendo en colores brillantes y alegres cuando venga a despedirse.
