Kathleen "Kitty" (Leisure) Myers

Kathleen "Kitty" M. Myers, 93, passed away of natural causes in her Sanger, TX home on Friday, October 16, 2020. 

She was born July 31, 1927, in Salem Township, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter Leisure and Charlotte (Mobley) Riley. She was a devout Christian and faithful servant of our Lord and Savior. She was married to William Myers on February 17, 1946, in St. Clairsville, OH. Kitty ran several restaurants and was known for her homemade rolls, lima bean soup, and peanut butter fudge. She volunteered at local hospitals and schools. Kitty was adventurous, loved the beach and Elvis, and enjoyed McDonald's coffee and a good wrestling match or football game. 

Preceded in death:

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; William Myers, one brother; Charles Leisure, three half-brothers; Jack, Glen, and Charles Riley, and one half-sister; Mag Wiser. 

Survived by:

She is survived by her four children; Kathy A. Rufer (Chuck Rufer) of Weatherford, TX, William C. Myers (Ruth Myers) of Sanger, TX, Jack R. Myers of Weatherford, TX, and Sandra S. Myers (Kenny Swisher) of Weatherford, TX, one sister; Maxine Steadman of Bellaire, OH, nine grandchildren; Tony Mazzuli, Scott Mazzuli, Michael W. Myers (Angela Myers), Michelle L. Myers (Scott Sizemore), Scottie Gibson, Samuel Gibson (Nicole Gibson), Tina Myers, Brett McConnaughy (Jennifer McConnaughy), Brian McConnaughy (Kristie McConnaughy), 11 great-grandchildren; Jessa (29), Ryan (29), Deva (28), Justin (25), Cade (23), Seth (23), Ryan (23), Megan (20), Alyssa (15), Reed (14), and Brody (11), five great-great-grandchildren; Colson (9), Braylon (5), Logan (3), Lilli (3), and Levi (17 mo.), countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Services:

Visitation will be held from 9 – 11 am at the Hughes Family Tribute Center, Dallas, TX on October 22, 2020 with the service following at 11 am.  She will be entombed at Crown Hill Memorial Park following the service.
