Lucian Tudor Life Story

Lucian Tudor was born on January 26th,1955 in Bucharest, Romania to Georgeta and Ion Tudor.

In his early 20s, Lucian played soccer for a local team in Romania. He truly enjoyed the sport. In Lucian's early career he worked as a technician for a communication company installing telephone lines and phones in residential communities. He loved interacting with people and helping them connect with their friends and family.

In 1984, Lucian met his wife, Adriana, and began a 37-year-old journey. One night, the couple viewed the movie, "Once Upon a Time in America". He fell in love with the musical score, "Deborah's Theme" by Ennio Morricone. From there on, this became his favorite movie and song. This production frequently played in their household and was a staple in their movie collection.

In 1989, Lucian and Adriana married in Romania and immigrated to the United States of America. This move occurred before the revolution that brought democracy in Romania.
Lucian lived in New York for one year and relocated to Texas. He started working at the Double Tree hotel in Dallas where he worked as a maintenance engineer. This created an opportunity for Lucian to attend The American Trade Institute to become certified in air conditioning and heating installation and repair. He excelled in his trade and went on to start his own business.

1995 came and brought the birth of Lucian and Adriana's only child, Alexander "Alex" Tudor. Lucian was overjoyed. He quickly became an involved parent in his son's life. Lucian was an avid soccer dad and undeniably proud of Alex's achievements. He had a nurturing part of him which was highlighted in different aspects of his life. Lucian loved animals and cared for them. His dogs, Spanky and the late Daisy were near and dear to his heart, loving them dearly.

In 2007, Lucian was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. This was devastating news to his family and friends as he was only 52. This didn't stop Lucian from enjoying his life. He has traveled to Greece, Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Mexico, Italy and even visit his family back in Romania. He lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed the finer things in life and spoiled his family, and more so his wife. He took pride in his appearance, making sure he never wore the same shirt or shoes twice in someone's house. He was intelligent, funny, witty, charismatic, and a good dancer.

On Wednesday October 6th, 2021, Lucian (aged 66) passed away at his home in Plano, Texas. Lucian is preceded in death by his father Ion Tudor. He is survived by his mother Georgeta, his younger brother Dorin, wife Adriana, son Alex and many friends.
