Richard Michael Ortega

Richard Michael Ortega, beloved son, grandson, and brother was born on September 12, 1999, in Mesquite, Texas. He enjoyed growing up in Forney, Texas and later Irving, Texas. He graduated from Singley Academy where he was a leader in the Police Explorer Program. Lately he worked for Amazon as a Forklift Operator and Trainer. Richard had a smile that lit up the whole room. Richard enjoyed many things including the Texas Rangers, gaming and going to the lake.

Richard passed away on May 11, 2022. The family takes great comfort in knowing he is hanging out with Pat-Pat, Papa, Granddaddy, Nana, Mando, Mamma, Granny Dean and Daddy Jack. Richard is survived by his loving parents, Amanda Spoerl & Frank Rosas and Ricky & Angela Ortega; his siblings Madison, Haleigh, Collin, Able, Franky, Robert, Chris and Jessica; his grandparents Mike and Candy Spoerl and Richard Ortega Sr.; and many aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by all that knew him.
